Drive School of Motivation in Billund is a special school for children and young people with special needs, where safety, calmness and motivation are essential to everyday life. In connection with the construction of the school’s new building, Drive had a clear objective: to create physical settings that support pedagogy and treatment. The building is designed with bright spaces, warm materials and flexible zones that allow room for both community and concentration. Here, acoustics play a central role – especially for students who are sensitive to noise and sensory stimuli.

Acoustic Design has contributed acoustic solutions that are integrated into the interior design and adapted to the school’s need for calm and well-structured learning environments. The panels reduce reverberation and noise levels, allowing both teaching and breaks to take place in a more balanced atmosphere. This creates better conditions for concentration, relationships and learning – both in shared areas and in smaller teaching spaces.
